Exhibition Fotomuseum Maastricht

It’s been three weeks already since the opening..this is, give or take a few, the first day really I have time to look back and also post some images (with special thanks to Karl Heinz Offerman and Jean-Pierre Geusens for sharing them). In short: the opening was great! Very busy, talked a lot with too few a people and had a great dinner afterwards to celebrate and end in style. On top of that I sold several works which is great to keep things going ๐Ÿ™‚

Special thanks to Ilford for joining the opening, I received such praising comments on the paper showed. Special thanks also to Sarah Laven from the Fotomuseum for being such a pleasant person to deal with and of course Erik de Jong for giving me this opportunity!

This Sunday I will be giving an ‘artist talk’ for those interested. You can find more information via this link and sign up.

Also…I bought something for the studio..a Broncolor Pulso 8 generator and strobe.. I also have two Pulso 4 strobes on loan to see if it’ll work as background lighting or rimlights or whatever. I also ordered a beauty dish for the Pulso 8; will work better/prettier than a softbox I guess. This Thursday = Kings Day read Queens Day as I will light the shit out of my studio ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, looking forward what it’ll bring me. It’ll be nice to not always have shutter ‘speeds’ of one minute for portraits. Especially when shooting more than one person. Studio 2.0 here we go!

Now, on to some images of the opening at Fotomuseum aan het Vrijthof from last April 2nd.

The exhibition runs until the 2nd of June ๐Ÿ™‚
